List your top 5 grocery store items.

Life is busy. The last thing I want is to overcomplicate my meals and water them down with too many ingredients. That’s why when I shop, I like to keep it simple! Here are 5 Must-Haves for every shopping trip.
- Fresh fruit- I like to start the days with fruit to keep it light and get that much needed boost of energy to wake me up. These can be bananas, strawberries, apples, pretty much anything in season.
- Veggies- These can include bases like cabbage, potatoes and beets for heavier meals. Additionally, I like to stock up on add ons such as scallions, garlic, and herbs.
- Meat- a must have for my busy life. I like meat to be the main attraction to my meals, be it steak, ground beef, chicken, seafood, etc. I shop pretty heavy on these in order to cut out most of the empty snacks you might find.
- Dairy- for sustained and additional meal assembly I stay current on milk, cream, cheese, and yogurt. This covers pretty much any meal, healthy snack, or base for sauces or protien shakes.
- Energy drinks- everyone has their vices, and caffiene is definitely mine. Coffee, energy drinks, pre-workout fall in this category, and is pretty much essential to keep my days going.
These allow for a large variation of food without getting stuck into a routine, feel free to add in whatever you might fancy!
